In implementation of the ministerial program and the directives of the presidency of the Council of ministers, the Student Activities Division in cooperation with the afforestation unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kirkuk on Tuesday, corresponding to ٢٠٢٤/١٠/١٥ an afforestation campaign included planting varieties of seedlings and trees in the corridors of the building of the internal departments for girls and the classroom gardens of the Faculty of Pharmacy with the participation of a group of its affiliates and students.
The campaign aimed to spread the spirit of cooperation between the University of Kirkuk academics, staff and students, as well as to address the challenges of climate change, enhance biodiversity and improve the well-being of academic reality.
The dean of the college, assistant professor Dr. Nashwan Omar Rashid, expressed his happiness with the success of the campaign, praising the voluntary and positive efforts they have made, and also stressed the importance of such initiatives in encouraging environmental awareness and contributing to building a healthier and sustainable society.
