The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Pharmacy organizes two exhibitions, one for fine arts and the other for medical cosmetics, on the occasion of Women’s Day

On Wednesday, 3/8/2023, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized two exhibitions, one for fine arts and the other for medical cosmetics. Some of the college’s female students displayed models of their products in drawing, wax sculpture, and handicrafts, while one of the private pharmacies displayed a number of Cosmetic medical preparations.

The two exhibitions were opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Omar Rashid, Dean of the College, praising the wonderful talent of the college’s female students participating in the exhibition, stressing that the excellence and success achieved by the students in their studies was crowned by the outstanding works on display. He also praised the integrated cosmetics exhibition and thanked those in charge of organizing it, especially mentioning the pharmacist Zainab Azal Mahdi, a teaching assistant at the college. The Rapporteur of the Medicines and Toxicology Branch for its good coordination and follow-up.

At the conclusion of the two exhibitions, the Dean of the College extended his thanks and appreciation to the Assistant Professor, Dr. Amira Kamal Muhammad, the Dean’s Administrative Assistant and the head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College, for her supervision and distinguished role in producing the exhibitions in the wonderful way that the visitors found them, wishing everyone continued success and the Iraqi woman more heights and prosperity.
