College of Nursing Concludes Chess Tournament

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Hiwa Sttar Salih, the Sports Activities Division at the College of Nursing, Kirkuk University, organized the final round of the Chess Championship for the college students.

The championship witnessed distinguished participation from students. The results of the men's competition resulted in student Mohammed Issa winning first place, while student Renma Azad secured second place.

In the women's competition, student Hiyam Khalid won first place, while student Doaa Zuhair came in second place.

This championship comes within the framework of the sports activities that the college is keen to organize, with the aim of developing a spirit of positive competition among students, enhancing the thinking and concentration skills required by the game of chess, as well as supporting student activities that contribute to building the personality of university students.
