In a scientific achievement that bolsters the international research profile of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Aram Mohammed Rahim—a faculty member in the Department of Radio and Television at the College of Media—has published a research paper in the Romanian journal *Environmental Engineering and Management Journal*. The study evaluates environmental sustainability in the city of Kirkuk and analyzes the statistical relationship between heavy metal pollution and the number of COVID-19 cases.
