A ministerial committee formed by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, headed by Dr. Ali Mawloud Fadhil, Head of the Media Department at the College of Arts, Samarra University, visited the College of Media as part of the work of ministerial committees concerned with evaluating media colleges and departments in Iraqi public universities.
The visit included an assessment of the college and its academic departments, monitoring the educational and service infrastructure, and inspecting classrooms, specialized laboratories, studios, as well as the infrastructure, green spaces, and sports fields. The committee also reviewed the available resources and their utilization in supporting the educational and training process.
Furthermore, the committee discussed the academic and administrative performance of the department and reviewed the most prominent achievements and activities during the past academic year, in light of the evaluation criteria adopted by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
This visit is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to monitor and evaluate the state of media academic institutions, enhance the quality of media education, and raise the level of academic and service performance to align with the requirements of academic development and the media job market.
