The College of Media at Kirkuk University hosted the final match of its volleyball tournament, which pitted the Journalism and Radio & Television Departments against each other. The match was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Maad Assi Ali, along with several faculty members and students, amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship.
The Radio & Television Department team secured the title after a hard-fought match, winning two sets to one (2-1) against the Journalism Department team, thus claiming the championship.
This tournament is part of the sports activities that the College of Media is keen to organize, recognizing their role in fostering a spirit of cooperation and positive competition among students, developing sportsmanship, and strengthening ties between academic departments. This contributes to creating a university environment that combines academic excellence with student activities.
