The Student Activities Division at the College of Media, Kirkuk University, held a scientific and educational lecture entitled "Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century" as part of its annual program. The lecture was presented by Mr. Osama Essam Abdullah, an entrepreneurship trainer, and was attended by faculty members, staff, and students.
The lecture addressed the concept of entrepreneurship and its importance in building a promising professional future. It highlighted the differences between traditional and smart businesses, and the role of innovation and modern technologies in developing projects and transforming ideas into viable and sustainable economic opportunities.
The Dean of the College of Media, Professor Dr. Muad Assi Ali, emphasized the importance of supporting young talent and developing students' skills in innovation and entrepreneurship, in line with the demands of the labor market and the rapid transformations in the digital and economic environment. He noted that the university's mission is not limited to the academic sphere, but also contributes to preparing students who possess a spirit of initiative and the ability to create opportunities.
This lecture comes as part of the College of Media’s efforts to diversify its student and cultural programs, and to provide a stimulating environment for creativity and initiative, which enhances students’ capabilities and opens up new horizons for them to build a professional future based on knowledge and innovation.
