The College of Media at Kirkuk University, represented by its University Psychological Counseling Unit, held an awareness-raising lecture as part of its program "Enhancing Psychological Security and Contributing to Reducing Negative Thoughts," entitled "Drug Prevention as a Model." This lecture was part of the college's efforts to enhance psychological and social awareness among students.
The lecture was presented by Mr. Hamza Rahim Al-Mufarji, who addressed the dangers of drugs and their health, psychological, and social effects, as well as methods of prevention. He also emphasized the importance of early awareness and strengthening the ability to confront negative thoughts and behaviors and make sound decisions.
The lecture is part of the psychological counseling program implemented by the University Psychological Counseling Unit, which aims to support students, enhance their psychological security, and instill a culture of prevention and conscious engagement with challenges and negative phenomena.
