The College of Media at Kirkuk University held its second meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council to discuss the priorities for implementing the Bologna Process within the college and ways to align its educational outcomes with the demands of the Kirkuk labor market.
The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College of Media, Professor Dr. Muad Assi Ali, and attended by several directors of satellite channels and media institutions in the governorate. Discussions focused on the implementation of the Bologna Process as a cornerstone for modernizing higher education. This modernization involves emphasizing learning outcomes, developing curricula, and adopting modern teaching methods that contribute to producing graduates with the competencies and skills required by the labor market and enhance the competitiveness of academic institutions.
The attendees stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the college and the media sector. This partnership aims to develop academic programs according to the needs of media institutions and ensure the graduation of qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with professional and technological advancements in the labor market.
