Under the patronage of the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, held a scientific symposium on: The legal dimensions of the painful Speicher crime and its impact on societal peace from the perspective of international and national laws

The symposium, which was held under the chairmanship of the head of the Continuing Education Unit at the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Hilo Muhammad Salih, and with the participation of faculty members, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Hussein Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Diaa Abbas Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Breez Fattah Younis, and Lecturer Dr. Hussein Wahab, discussed the painful Speicher crime in 2014 and the brutality of its perpetrators from the terrorist ISIS gangs, considering it a crime of genocide, and clarifying the position of the Rome Statute establishing the International Criminal Court on this crime after it is a crime against humanity,

and clarifying the position of the judiciary The Iraqi perpetrators of this crime by referring the perpetrators of this crime to the Criminal Court in Iraq and issuing the death sentence against them for the crime of genocide.
