Under the patronage of the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the college, held a scientific symposium on: The role of academic institutions in establishing the values of integrity and combating administrative corruption
The symposium, in which the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, Professor Dr. Saad Attia Hamad, Assistant Professor Halo Muhammad Salih, Assistant Professor Dr. Arkan Haider, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Talal Malallah lectured, addressed the role of academic institutions in establishing the values of integrity in society, and the reasons for the rampant corruption in the administrative structure of state facilities, which result from inequality and weak religious and moral restraint. Academic institutions have the scientific and research capabilities to help them eliminate corruption through lectures, conferences and scientific workshops and build a solid and balanced strategy to eliminate corruption and instill a culture of integrity and transparency in society.
