Two researchers from the College of Law and Political Science publish joint scientific research in an international journal

A lecturer at the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Talaat Jiyad Laji, in collaboration with researcher Hussein Okla Muhammad, published a joint scientific research in the international magazine Migration Letters, which is classified within the Scopus database with the classification Q1.

The research examined the issue of regional international mechanisms for protecting human rights in international conflicts.
The research aimed to clarify the role of regional international organizations in confronting armed conflicts, and these organizations include the African Union and NATO. These organizations played an important role in settling armed conflicts in Africa and Europe, especially the armed conflicts in Darfur, Libya, and Kosovo, and in response to Security Council resolutions issued to confront these conflicts.
