The thesis, which was discussed in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, concluded that violations against civilians occur in wars and armed conflicts, as well as the challenges facing the application of the rules of humanity in wars and armed conflicts stipulated in international agreements that deal with the humanitarian aspect.
The thesis concluded that humanizing the rules of war seeks to respect human rights by reducing the suffering of civilians during wars and armed conflicts, and protecting them from the horrors of war and its effects by applying those rules by the conflicting parties.
