The thesis, which was discussed in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, aimed to analyze and evaluate the criminal legal texts related to combating the violation of the privacy of exam questions, and to determine the legal bases on which the legislator relies in criminalizing these acts by studying local legislation, and shedding light on the procedures of the lawsuit and trial followed in this context.
The thesis concluded that the current legislation is weak, although the decision of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council No. 32 of 1996 criminalized this act, it is not a deterrent and is not sufficient to confront modern technological developments that have contributed to the increase in these crimes arising from the violation of the privacy of exam questions.
