The thesis, which was discussed in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, aimed to explain the nature of the constitutional judiciary, the foundations and justifications of its legislative role, and the areas of the legislative role of the constitutional judiciary, the directive and the establishment, and the applications of the Federal Supreme Court in Iraq.

The thesis concluded that the constitutional and legal basis for the legislative role of the Federal Supreme Court is embodied in the jurisdiction of the Federal Supreme Court in monitoring the constitutionality of laws and interpreting them according to Articles 92, 93, and 94 of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005.
