Within the framework of enhancing cooperation between academic institutions and the oil sector

 The Department of Petroleum Engineering organized a scientific field visit for its students to the North Oil Company (NOC), as part of its efforts to support the practical side of the educational process, accompanied by a group of the department's faculty members.

The visit aimed to enable students to gain field exposure to the petroleum work environment and to familiarize themselves with Drill Stem Test (DST) equipment and its operational mechanisms. Additionally, it provided an opportunity to understand the technical methods and operational procedures adopted within the company, contributing to the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical applications, developing students' scientific and professional skills, and preparing them for the labor market requirements in the oil sector.
