The College of Engineering Discusses the Phenomenon of Cyber Extortion

The College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Community Police and the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR), is holding a specialized scientific seminar on the phenomenon of cyber extortion, with the participation of a select group of academics, experts, and specialists in this field.

The seminar features lectures by:

Dr. Yousef Hashem Hussein – College of Engineering, University of Kirkuk.

Ms. Damia Mohammed Jassim – Director of the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Kirkuk Governorate.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Ne'mat Amin – Director of the Al-Balda Community Police Center.

Certified International Trainer Surood Mahmoud Shaker.

The seminar aims to shed light on the dangers of cyber extortion and methods of prevention, in addition to promoting a culture of safe technology use and raising legal and social awareness among students and the community.
