On International Women's Day: A Green Initiative Reflecting Women's Role in Creating Life

 On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8th, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized a voluntary afforestation campaign in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and the Civil Defense Unit. The initiative involved distributing plantable tree seeds to the personnel of the College of Engineering, serving as a symbolic gesture that expresses the connection between women and life, growth, and their role in building a more sustainable society.

This initiative aims to consolidate the culture of environmental care and encourage the spirit of initiative and voluntary work among college personnel, as well as highlight the pivotal position of women in development and continuous giving. The event received a positive response from the staff, who expressed their appreciation for this initiative that combines human and environmental dimensions simultaneously.

This activity falls within the framework of the activities through which the College seeks to support community initiatives and enhance environmental awareness, reaffirming that women have always been, and remain, essential partners in creating life and establishing the values of giving and building in society.
