The College of Basic Education - Unit of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation, in conjunction with the Guidance Week, organized a workshop titled "Student Behavior and Ethics: Yesterday and Today." The College of Basic Education held a scientific workshop titled "Student Behavior and Ethics: Yesterday and Today," presented by both Assistant Lecturer Azeen Khalil Mahmoud and Assistant Lecturer Wala'a Abdul Karim Nasser. The workshop addressed the changes that have occurred in student behaviors and ethics over time, and the impact of societal and technological developments on these behaviors. It also discussed the differences between the educational values that were prevalent in the past and how to promote positive values in light of the challenges of modern times.
The workshop focused on the role of educational institutions and faculty members in instilling ethical values and proper behaviors among students, while proposing practical solutions to address the negative phenomena that may confront the university environment. The workshop witnessed notable attendance from students and professors who enriched the discussion with their contributions and inquiries, contributing to achieving the workshop's objectives and raising awareness of the importance of ethics and positive behaviors in the university environment.
