The College of Basic Education, through the Continuing Education Division, organized a workshop entitled “Ethical Decisions in Academic Work.” The workshop addressed the importance of making ethical decisions in the academic environment and the role of ethics in promoting integrity and transparency in the fields of education and scientific research.The basic principles of academic ethics, such as honesty, fairness, and respect, were discussed, as well as how to deal with the challenges that academics may face in making decisions that affect the course of education and research. We also presented practical case studies that demonstrate the impact of ethical decisions in academic life.The workshop aimed to raise awareness among participants of the importance of adhering to ethical principles in academic work, which contributes to building a fair and transparent educational environment that enhances students’ and society’s confidence in educational institutions.
