The College of Basic Education/Women's Affairs Unit organized a workshop on the economic empowerment of women, delivered by (Mrs. M. Marwa Abdullah Youssif).The workshop included a review of the role of women in economic development and the challenges they face in order to achieve economic empowerment. Effective ways to enhance women’s participation in the workforce and their role in economic decisions were also discussed. The workshop was an opportunity for interaction and a rich exchange of experiences and ideas among the participants, and it resulted in directives. Recommendations aim to support and enhance the role of women in economic fields. The goal of the “Economic Empowerment of Women” workshop is to highlight the importance of women’s role in economic development and enhance their capabilities in this field. The workshop aims to make participants aware of the challenges facing women in the labor market and the economy and to provide solutions and suggestions to support and empower their economic role, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development and building an interdependent and cohesive society.
