Workshop Titled: “The Risks of Drug Abuse and Its Effects on the Individual and Society”

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk organized a workshop entitled
“The Risks of Drug Abuse and Its Effects on the Individual and Society,”
as part of the activities of the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Economics and the Psychological and Educational Guidance Unit, and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Issam Hadi Mohammed.

The workshop was presented by:

• Ms. Nourhan Rushdi Saad Al-Din

The workshop addressed the main health, social, and psychological risks resulting from drug abuse, in addition to discussing its negative impacts on the individual and society.

The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of drugs, promote a culture of early prevention, highlight the role of educational institutions in limiting the spread of this phenomenon, and encourage positive behaviors within the university community.
