The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammed, received Brigadier General Mohammed Jasim Mohammed from the Explosives Control Department and the Director of the Department’s Administration, Ali Abdullah Mohiuddin, in an official visit aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the field of security awareness.
During the meeting, ways to raise awareness among students and staff about the dangers of explosives and proper handling of emergency situations were discussed. The discussion also included introducing common types of explosives, preventive measures, and the procedures to follow to ensure the safety of the university environment.
The Explosives Control Department delegation provided a detailed explanation of the security efforts made to protect educational institutions, emphasizing the importance of partnership with universities in promoting a culture of safety and hazard awareness.
For his part, the Dean praised this initiative, appreciating the significant role played by the Explosives Control Forces in protecting society, and confirmed the College’s commitment to continuing cooperation by organizing specialized workshops and lectures that benefit students and contribute to enhancing their security awareness.
