A faculty member at the College of Administration and Economics – Kirkuk University chairs the examination committee for a Ph.D. thesis, which is the first of its kind in Iraq within the specialization of Business Administration Techniques.
((Prof. Dr. Younis Mohammed Al-Sabawi)) participated as the chair of the examination committee for the Ph.D. thesis titled:
"Agile Leadership and its Impact on Enhancing Strategic Adaptation: The Mediating Role of Dynamic Capabilities – An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Faculty Members at the Northern Technical University," submitted by the student Mahmoud Shabaan Khidr Abdullah.
The defense took place on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, at Al-Hikma Hall in the Department of Business Administration Techniques at the Technical College of Administration, Northern Technical University. This dissertation is considered the very first Ph.D. thesis to be discussed in the specialization of Business Administration Techniques across Iraq.
The thesis aimed to demonstrate the impact of agile leadership on enhancing strategic adaptation through the mediating role of dynamic capabilities, within an organizational environment characterized by rapid changes and contemporary challenges, focusing on the educational environment at the Northern Technical University.
