Under the patronage of the President of Kirkuk University, the esteemed Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at Kirkuk University, the esteemed Asst. Prof. Dr. Issam Hadi Mohammed, the College of Administration and Economics organized a training course within the activities of the Continuous Education Division entitled:
"From Ledger to Screen: The Accounting System's Journey Towards University Digitalization", presented by Dr. Nora Sabah, at the college's conference hall.
The course aimed to introduce the concept of university digitalization and the mechanisms for transitioning from traditional accounting systems to modern electronic systems. Furthermore, it highlighted the importance of utilizing digital technologies to develop administrative and accounting work, thereby contributing to enhancing efficiency, speed, and accuracy in accomplishing tasks within educational institutions.
The course included several axes addressing digital transformation methods in accounting systems, the importance of automation in data preservation and organization, as well as reviewing the most prominent challenges facing the implementation of digital systems in the university environment and ways to address them.
At the conclusion of the course, emphasis was placed on the importance of holding training courses and workshops that contribute to developing administrative and accounting performance and keeping pace with modern technological developments, serving the university work environment and enhancing the efficiency of educational institutions.
