Scientific Workshop at the College of Administration and Economics to Promote Standards of High-Quality Academic Publishing

In line with its continuous efforts to elevate the quality of scientific research, the College of Administration and Economics organized a scientific workshop entitled (Regulations, Rules, and Publishing Mechanisms for Scientific Papers Extracted from Master's Theses and Doctoral Dissertations), attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Essam Hadi Muhammad, and with the participation of a select group of faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Shamar, a faculty member in the Department of Statistics, who highlighted several key themes, most notably the approved academic regulations for preparing extracted research, publishing mechanisms in peer-reviewed scientific journals, criteria for selecting reputable journals, as well as the challenges facing researchers and ways to address them according to sound scientific principles.

28 4 328 4 4This workshop aims to establish a culture of reputable scientific publishing, raise the standard of research output, and enable researchers to adhere to approved academic standards, thereby enhancing the college's scientific standing and contributing to the development of its research environment.

28 4 528 4 628 4 6The workshop witnessed remarkable engagement from the attendees through discussions and questions, and concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing to organize such scientific activities to support the journey of scientific research and strengthen the college's presence in academic circles.
