The Chemistry Department, in cooperation with the Continuous Education Division in the College of Science, organized a seminar on the Chemistry program, in which Assistant Lecturer Munir Mazhour Hamad, teaching assistant in the Chemistry Department, lectured. The seminar aimed to introduce the attendees to the importance of the Chemoffice program, its features, and the mechanism of its use to name chemical compounds and write them in the required form, which benefits researchers and graduate students in writing scientific research, dissertations, and academic dissertations. The lecturer also touched on how to write chemical equations, convert names into chemical structures, predict NMR spectra, and how to know the precise analysis of the elements present in organic compounds.
He also referred to some important templates in Bio-chemistry and discussed orbitals, the crystalline form of these compounds, as well as presenting some nanonetworks used in the field of chemistry.
