Professor Dr. Mohsin Omar Mohammed, Assistant Dean of the College of Science for Scientific Affairs and postGraduate Studies / University of Kirkuk, participated as a member in a specialized ministerial committee formed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in order to inspect and follow up on the preparations of the College of Applied Sciences / Department of Chemistry at the University of Fallujah to develop a master’s study program and discuss Scientific and regulatory aspects related to it.
The committee reviewed the preparations of the college and the department and the extent of their readiness in terms of the classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern equipment and the teaching staff who hold scientific titles and the financial and organizational capabilities. The committee also reviewed the availability of modern resources in the college library and the modern technological means used to deliver lectures such as display screens and the availability of halls designated for discussions. In the department, the committee was welcomed by the President of the University of Fallujah, the Dean of the College of Science, and his assistants.
In conclusion, the visiting committee praised the efforts made by the dean of the college and the department staff in preparing all the necessary supplies, including halls, laboratories, and teaching staff, to open a master’s degree in the department. The committee was honored with a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Presidency of the University of Fallujah and the Deanship of the College of Science.
