College of Science at the University of Kirkuk Holds Fifth Council Meeting for the Academic Year 2024-2025

The Council of the College of Science at the University of Kirkuk convened its fifth meeting for the academic year 2024-2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Abdullah Ali Muhammad Tamim, the Acting Dean of the College and Vice President for Scientific Affairs. The meeting was attended by all council members.

During the session, the council discussed key issues, including proposals for master's thesis projects in the Departments of Life Sciences and Chemistry. They also reviewed the composition of graduate student committees and the awarding of degrees. A proposal to increase the acceptance rate by 50% for evening studies was also considered, along with the distribution process for new first-year students and parallel government students.

The meeting concluded with a focus on the formation of scientific committees and graduate study committees in compliance with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's regulations and the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department’s guidelines.
