University of Kirkuk’s College of Science Hosts Seminar on Entrepreneurship

The College of Science at the University of Kirkuk recently hosted a seminar titled "Introducing the Entrepreneurship Initiative," in alignment with the Prime Minister’s Riyada Initiative. This initiative aims to support youth and graduates in launching small and medium-sized projects to foster job creation and economic development.

The seminar, organized in collaboration with the Employment and Rehabilitation Division and the Continuing Education Division, featured accredited trainers M. M. Saif Sabah Hamoud and M. M. Maali Safouk Suleiman. The trainers provided in-depth insights into the Entrepreneurship Initiative, which focuses on developing the entrepreneurial spirit among students, particularly in the fields of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Key topics included the initiative’s goals, which involve enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing financial and technical support for emerging businesses, and offering training and consultation services. The seminar highlighted the opportunities available for students to create their own projects, aiming to stimulate innovation and contribute to the economic growth of the region.

The event successfully equipped students with the necessary knowledge and resources to help them succeed in the competitive labor market and to pursue entrepreneurial ventures with confidence.
