The Women's Empowerment Committee at the College of Pharmacy holds a symposium entitled (The Role of Iraqi Women Throughout the Ages)

The Women's Empowerment Committee at the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division through the Continuing Education Division, held a symposium entitled (The Role of Iraqi Women Throughout the Ages) on Thursday morning, 3/7/204. The symposium shed light on an important aspect of the life of Iraqi women in Mesopotamia during the various historical stages. They had a prestigious position that their counterparts did not reach except after a long struggle, but they also suffered from injustice and marginalization for many years, and were able to advance their reality over the ages towards progress. They went through various stages, played a central role, and influenced different civilizations throughout the ages. The lecturers, including A. M. Dr. Amira Kamal Muhammad, Head of the Committee, and the lecturers Zainab Azal Mahdi and Mrs. Hala Raed Abdel Qader) in the symposium on the steadfastness of the women of Gaza in Palestine and their resistance to all kinds of circumstances, wars and injustice practiced by the Zionist aggression, to complete the epic of resistance among women in the most difficult and fierce confrontations.
