Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Omar Rashid, the Pharmaceuticals and Toxicology Branch at the College of Pharmacy, through the Continuing Education Division, held a scientific course on (preparing pharmaceutical formulations) for the days 12-14/12/2023.
Lectures were given in the course by the pharmacist Montazer Abdel Salam Abdel Shaheed/researcher in the field of cosmetology on the preparation of pharmaceutical formulations and the manufacture of cosmetics, followed by practical applications for fifth-year students, which were conducted in the Pharmaceutical Technology Laboratory, in the presence of the head of the Pharmaceuticals and Toxicology Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Amira Kamal Muhammad, and the branch’s rapporteur, the assistant lecturer in pharmaceutical sciences. Zainab Azal Mahdi, with the aim of developing the skills of the students participating in the course and training them to prepare pharmaceutical formulations and manufacture cosmetics.
In turn, the Dean praised the lecturer and thanked him for his distinguished efforts and welcomed his arrival to the College of Pharmacy, wishing him and those responsible for preparing the course success and lasting success.
