The Women's Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling Division at the College of Pharmacy, organized an introductory scientific workshop titled "Towards a Safe and Sustainable Environment: An Introduction to International ISO Systems."
Presented by Dr. Hanadi Hussein Sharqi, the workshop aimed to shed light on ISO international standards as a global reference for modern management systems. It emphasized their vital role in establishing total quality management (TQM) concepts, enhancing occupational health and safety requirements, and supporting environmental protection, in alignment with contemporary visions for sustainable development and robust institutional governance.
The workshop addressed the core pillars of ISO systems, explaining their impact on improving institutional performance efficiency and developing administrative and technical procedures. It also focused on mitigating occupational and environmental risks, while fostering a culture of compliance with international standards within educational institutions.
