Ministerial Committee for Evaluating Scientific and Academic Standing Visits Kirkuk University's College of Pharmacy

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Ministerial Committee for evaluating the scientific and academic standing of governmental Pharmacy Colleges visited the College of Pharmacy at Kirkuk University. They were received by Professor Dr. Mohammed Talaat Abbas, the Dean of the College, in the presence of the Scientific and Administrative Assistants. The committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Mosaab Mohammed Khalaf as Chairman, and Professor Dr. Harith Khalid Mohammed, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Khudair Oklah as members.

During the visit, the committee reviewed the progress of the educational process in the college, its curricula, and the infrastructure of the scientific laboratories and classrooms. They also evaluated the level of academic and practical performance of the students. Furthermore, the committee discussed with the college deanship ways to develop study programs in line with the quality and academic accreditation standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean of the College extended his thanks and appreciation to the committee members for their visit and their efforts in monitoring the scientific and academic reality. He expressed the college's readiness to implement the recommendations and observations that would enhance the quality of pharmaceutical education at Kirkuk University.
