College of Nursing – University of Kirkuk Concludes the Five-a-Side Football Championship

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Hiwa Star Salih, the College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk concluded its five-a-side football championship for the college students on Monday, 16/2/2026, as part of the sports activities organized by the Student Activities Division of the college.

The championship was organized بهدف promoting and supporting sports activities, encouraging student engagement in sports, and strengthening the spirit of cooperation, friendship, and positive competition between morning and evening study students.

The tournament witnessed an enthusiastic atmosphere and strong competition among the participating teams, where third-year evening study students were crowned champions of the championship.

At the conclusion of the event, prizes were distributed to the winning team and participants in recognition of their efforts and active participation, amid appreciation from the College Deanship for the importance of such activities in developing teamwork spirit and enhancing social relations among students.
