College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk Hosts Seminar on Iraqi Sovereignty Day and Contemporary Challenges

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk, the respected Prof. Dr. Hiwa Sattar Saleh, the College of Nursing organized an awareness seminar titled "Iraqi Sovereignty Day: Contemporary Challenges," coinciding with the occasion of Iraqi Sovereignty Day.

The seminar addressed the concept of national sovereignty and its importance in building the state and strengthening its independence, as well as discussing the most prominent contemporary challenges facing Iraq, and emphasizing the importance of national awareness and the role of academic institutions in consolidating the values of citizenship, belonging, and national responsibility.

The seminar also witnessed the presentation of a number of axes and discussions that contribute to enhancing students' awareness of national issues, and the importance of maintaining the unity, security, and stability of Iraq.
