Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk Chairs the Ministerial Committee to Evaluate the Establishment of a Master’s Degree Program at the College of Nursing, University of Tel Afar

Prof. Dr. Hiwa Sattar Saleh, Dean of the College of Nursing at Kirkuk University, chaired the ministerial committee assigned to evaluate the requirements for establishing a Master’s degree program in Nursing Sciences at the College of Nursing, University of Tel Afar. This visit comes as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s ongoing efforts to oversee the fulfillment of requirements for launching postgraduate programs across Iraqi universities.

The committee was received by the President of Tel Afar University, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Aqeel Yahya Hashim Al-Aaraji, who welcomed the members and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to meeting all necessary academic and administrative standards for introducing the Master’s program, thereby supporting postgraduate education and enhancing academic excellence.

During the visit, the ministerial committee conducted a field tour of the College of Nursing to assess its academic and physical infrastructure. The inspection covered faculty members, lecture halls, laboratories, the library, and the official documentation related to the program's establishment, ensuring full compliance with the standards and regulations approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
