The College of Media organized a scientific seminar entitled “Libraries in Iraqi Universities,” which addressed the importance of university libraries and their pivotal role in supporting the academic, scientific, and research process, and in enhancing knowledge resources, thus contributing to the development of the educational process and raising the level of scientific research.
The seminar featured lectures presented by Assistant Lecturer Jassim Mohammed Yassin, Director of the Library at the College of Medicinal Plants, and Assistant Lecturer Alia Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Library at the College of Media. They reviewed the importance of university libraries in providing scientific and knowledge resources, supporting the needs of students, faculty, and researchers, and keeping pace with scientific and intellectual developments.
The Dean of the College of Media, Professor Dr. Muad Assi Ali, affirmed the college's commitment to continuing to organize scientific seminars and academic events aimed at enhancing knowledge awareness, exchanging experiences, and developing the university environment, thereby supporting the educational and research process and raising the level of academic performance.
