The seminar aimed to enhance health awareness among students and staff, and to highlight the negative effects of smoking and its repercussions on individual and community health.
The speakers emphasized the health and psychological harms of smoking, including its risks to the respiratory, cardiovascular, and mental health systems. They stressed the importance of disseminating health education, raising awareness about the dangers of smoking, and providing information on how to quit and prevent its effects.
The Dean of the College of Media, Professor Dr. Muad Assi Ali, affirmed that the college administration is committed to continuing its awareness programs and guidance seminars, which contribute to promoting health awareness among students and staff, reinforcing positive behaviors, and reducing harmful health practices, thus supporting a healthy and safe university environment.a
