College of Media Organizes a Workshop on Research Skills

The College of Media at the University of Kirkuk organized an exceptional workshop on research skills as part of its efforts to enhance the academic abilities of students and faculty in the field of academic research, aiming to improve the quality of research and scientific studies.

The workshop lectures were presented by Professor Dr. Maad Asi Ali, Dean of the College, who discussed the fundamentals of scientific research, its importance in advancing academic knowledge, and the methodological steps involved in preparing scientific papers. Dr. Abdulrazzaq Abdullah Said focused on modern research methods, techniques for writing academic papers, and strategies for publishing them in peer-reviewed journals.

The workshop was attended by notable academic figures, including the Academic Assistant Professor Dr. Dham Ali Hussein, Head of the Radio and Television Department Dr. Hatem Jassem Al-Jamili, and Head of the Journalism Department Dr. Jawad Mohammad Amin, along with several faculty members and students.

This workshop, organized by the Continuing Education Unit in collaboration with the Journalism and Radio/Television departments, is part of a series of academic activities the College of Media is conducting to enhance research skills among students and faculty, contributing to the development of the educational process and achieving academic excellence.
