Under the patronage of the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit and the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division at the College, held a scientific symposium on: Drugs and terrorism, two sides of the same coin in Hammurabi Hall
The scientific symposium, in which Sheikh Dr. Marouf Abdulkhaliq, Imam of Al-Sabour Mosque in Kirkuk, Dr. Ayad Mahmoud Jassim, Assistant Professor Dr. Ryan Hashem Hamdoun, Dr. Ghada Hayawi Lazem, and Assistant Lecturer Ramadan Muhammad Al-Mashhadani lectured, addressed the topic of drugs and terrorism and the negative impact of the two global scourges on the lives of society and youth in particular through the impact of drugs on the psychological, social, health and economic levels and the impact of terrorism on the security and economic situation of the state.
