The thesis, which was discussed in the presence of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, aimed to ensure that the parties to the dispute, judges and their assistants comply with procedural legitimacy when carrying out procedural actions, starting with the judicial claim, proceeding with the lawsuit and issuing the final judgment in the dispute.
The thesis concluded that procedural legitimacy was not explicitly stipulated in the Iraqi and comparative civil procedure law, and that procedural legitimacy is described as a comprehensive legal principle and not a legal rule.
