A master’s thesis at the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk discussed: Global energy security in light of the Russian-Ukrainian war/the European Union as a model
The thesis submitted by the student: Abdul Rahman Abdul Jabbar Abdullah aimed to introduce energy security and demonstrate the sensitivity of European energy security by presenting European-Russian relations in the field of energy before the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022, and identifying the energy security challenges of the European Union countries and Russia.
The letter concluded that Russia is considered a major party in the European energy equation and directly affects the energy independence of the Union thanks to its capabilities in the energy field, which it uses as a pressure card in its relations.
