Faculty of Law and Political Science wins first place in the ‘Read’ initiative at the University of Kirkuk

The Faculty of Law and Political Science achieved a new cultural milestone by winning first place in the third edition of the ‘Iqra’ initiative launched by the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, to promote knowledge and encourage students to visit libraries.
This victory was the result of the outstanding efforts made by the faculty, represented by its dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, in creating the appropriate atmosphere for reading and organising the scientific and cultural events accompanying the initiative, which saw wide participation from faculty members and students.
For his part, the university president honoured the college library manager, Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Mahmoud Hussein, in recognition of this excellence, emphasising that the initiative aims to build students' personalities and develop their intellectual abilities by investing time in reading and learning. This initiative has achieved widespread success in academic circles.
