In its third edition... Launch of the ‘Read’ initiative

Today, the Faculty of Law and Political Science launched the first day of the third edition of the ‘Read’ initiative, which was launched by the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, and the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Nozad Ahmed Yassin, to renew the covenant with books as the best companion and the only path to excellence.

The initiative witnessed wide participation from faculty members, staff and students, and included various activities, such as dialogue sessions and intellectual discussions, during which the participating professors emphasised the pivotal role of reading in the development of legal thought, broadening students' horizons, and linking theoretical knowledge with practical reality.
