Full Paper Submission Guidelines
The First International Kirkuk University Conference for Dental Sciences (IKUCDS 2026) offers two publication routes for accepted full papers. Authors must select their preferred route at the time of submission and strictly follow the Author Guidelines of the selected journal.
General Requirements (Applicable to Both Routes)
- Papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Submissions must be non-commercial and relevant to dental sciences research or clinical practice.
- Manuscripts must be written in English.
- File format: Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX) only.
- All papers will undergo peer review.
- At least one author must register and pay the conference fee upon acceptance.

Route 1: Scopus-Indexed Journal: Fayoum University Medical Journal (FUMJ) Authors choosing this route must fully comply with the official Author Guidelines of FUMJ, including manuscript structure, formatting, references, ethics, plagiarism limits, and publication fees.

Route 2: Local Journal: Tikrit Journal of Dental Sciences (TJDS) Authors choosing this route must strictly follow the official Author Guidelines of TJDS, including formatting, references, ethical declarations, and journal requirements.

Submission & Publication Process
- Submit the full paper through the journal's online system.
- Select the preferred publication route (FUMJ or TJDS).
- Papers accepted by the conference will be forwarded to the selected journal for final review and publication according to the journal’s policies.
- Final publication is subject to journal acceptance and compliance with its guidelines.

- Failure to follow the selected journal’s Author Guidelines may result in rejection or delay in publication.
