Announcement of Application Procedures for Postgraduate Studies (Master’s and Ph.D.) for the Academic Year 2025–2026
The Postgraduate Studies Division at the College of Engineering announces the application procedures for postgraduate studies (Master’s and Ph.D.) for the academic year 2025–2026, for the period from May 15, 2025, to June 10, 2025, according to the following steps:
Fill out the electronic application form via the following link: (rdd.edu.iq).
Visit the College after completing the online application to submit (one original hard copy + two colored copies of the application file) to proceed with the verification stage.
Required Documents:
Electronic application form.
Personal identification documents:
(Unified National ID or (Civil ID + Nationality Certificate) + Residence Card + IDs of both parents), along with two colored personal photos with a white background.
Graduation document or confirmation letter addressed to:
(University of Kirkuk / College of Engineering / Postgraduate Studies Division), including a QR verification page.
The document must include the graduation average (in numbers and words), as well as the top first and second student averages for both morning and evening studies (if no evening study exists, it must be stated).
Multi-page forms must be printed on one double-sided colored sheet.
Forms for special privilege categories must be officially stamped by the relevant authority.
Certificates of passing computer, English, and Arabic language tests (valid within two years) are accepted according to regulations.
Additional Requirements:
Applicants under study leave regulations must provide a letter of no objection (certified by their department).
Employees with an average below 65% must provide proof of at least 5 years of service after their last degree, apply through private funding, and submit an official ministerial exception letter.
Applicants studying during employment under Law No. (20) of 2020 must provide a no-objection letter stating approval for study under private funding.
Applicants with any type of employment contract (temporary, permanent, daily wage, lecturer, etc.) must submit a non-conflict letter with both electronic and paper applications.
Applicants under private funding must sign a tuition payment commitment for two installments per academic year.
All forms requiring signatures must be signed manually by the applicant.
Submission Instructions:
All required documents must be compiled into one PDF file and sent to the Postgraduate Studies Division.
Submit the original hard copy + two colored copies + a CD containing all documents in PDF format to the receiving committee during official working hours and within the application period.
The applicant bears full legal responsibility for any mismatch between submitted documents.
Important Notes:
Applicants must revisit the College after online submission to complete requirements; otherwise, they will be disqualified from the competitive exam on June 30, 2025.
Follow the College website or visit the Postgraduate Division for updates regarding exam dates and interviews.
Interviews will be conducted on the same day as the competitive exam, according to Form 506, during the period June 30 – July 1, 2025.
Security clearance will be required only for accepted applicants.
Documents must be submitted in colored files as follows:
Red file: Civil Engineering
Black file: Mechanical Engineering
