About the Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in our college on 19/7/2010, five years after the establishment of the college, as part of one of the college’s objectives to achieve integration by encompassing most engineering specializations. The department includes a specialized academic staff holding scientific titles such as Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer, with high expertise and efficiency in education and scientific research.

The department is equipped with well-prepared classrooms and specialized laboratories, including the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, Strength of Materials Laboratory, Mechanical Workshops, Metallurgy Laboratory, Applied Mechanics and Vibrations Laboratory, and Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics Laboratory.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks to be a leading model of advanced higher education institutions in the country and the region, with strong academic standards in accordance with internationally recognized criteria applied in the world’s top universities.
