A Scientific Field Trip for Civil Engineering Students to Khasa Dam to Enhance Practical Application

Based on the principle of cooperation between the university and the governorate’s directorates, the College of Engineering / Civil Engineering Department organized a scientific field trip for fourth-stage students to the Khasa Dam, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Taymour Abdulmajeed Awchi.

The visit was warmly received by the management and staff of the dam administration. A dedicated engineering team was assigned to accompany the students on a field tour covering various parts of the dam, providing detailed explanations on technical and engineering aspects, and answering students' inquiries to enhance their practical understanding.

The trip also included a visit to the dam's photo gallery, which features a wide range of photographs documenting the project's execution phases and its various structures, allowing students to observe the progression of engineering work in a practical and integrated manner.
