In the framework of supporting youth energies and enhancing innovation to achieve quality of life, the College of Engineering at Kirkuk University participated in the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which was launched by the university in a central celebration attended by the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Ali Muhammad Tamim, and a number of deans of colleges and officials of the technology incubator and ecosystem units, in addition to members and students of the colleges.
The activities included an introductory lecture on the goals of the technology incubator and its role in supporting innovation, in addition to presenting inspiring success stories, innovations and scientific projects presented by students. The activities also included a dialogue session that discussed industrial projects and ideas and ways to integrate them into the labor market, with a focus on how to support them through the industrial incubator.
On the sidelines of the activities, the Scientific Assistant opened a group of scientific, medical, engineering and agricultural exhibitions organized by the university's colleges, with the participation of its members and students. The events also included an exhibition of books, photographs, handicrafts and scientific models, which provided a platform for creativity and highlighting student talents. This participation comes from the university’s vision to promote entrepreneurship and support young energies to create an educational environment that contributes to building a sustainable knowledge and economic society.
